Abstract

In this article we analyze the individualization devices of the work force taking as reference the
paradigm of quality. The main hypothesis that arises is that this paradigm matrices individualization
devices that de-referentialize the sociotechnical prescriptions of the work positions with respect
to the labor categories, displacing them from the collective agreements, and redefining them
in the scope of the company under the of labor competencies. The methodology used is eminently
qualitative and diverse data sources were invoked from the actors that are an active part of the
quality paradigm as international and national organizations, companies and unions.
