Abstract

The absent otherness in the national space, in terms of suicide, acquires the form of silence. The silence of suicide, with its denial attempts, obliteration or confinement and protection of what was not said gains corporeality in this disenchanted absence of otherness. Without otherness, violence becomes a permanent way of inhabiting the world, signifying it and inscribing it upside down, this is, de-simbolizing it, making it disenchanted, under the cultural vernacular frameworks of denial of the Other, lacking any trascendentality.
